At the end of February Statebourne Cryogenics were proud to be in attendance at the first Big Business Science Forum held in Copenhagen.
With nine of Europe’s largest Big Science organisations contributing to the conference program and many more representatives from other research institutions from around the globe in attendance, the first BSBF was a huge success.
The main object of the event was to make the purchasing and tender processes more transparent and offer industry easier access to the big science market. In addition to receiving comprehensive commercial information from the Big nine organisations, we also had the opportunity to attend very informative lectures on the science and take an organised trip to the nearby MAX-IV and the exciting ESS project in LUND, still in its building phase. The latter was of particular interest to Statebourne Cryogenics as the ESS is the new home for one of our state of the art 20,000 litre Helium Dewars.
The BSBF was a well organised and informative event which we hope will be repeated. Our thanks must go to the event organisers for bringing together so many institutions to a well-chosen location.
Our thanks must also go to the London Chamber of Commerce for providing so much support before, during and after the event.
